Island Night Vision started because I know exactly what it means to rely on your equipment when the lights go out.

When I joined the Marine Corps as an Infantryman, I learned your gear has to work for you, period. My firsthand experience with this was on a deployment to Afghanistan. Out there, low-light capabilities aren't just a cool tactical flex; they keep you alive. Later on, deploying to Africa as a Squad Designated Marksman and Team Leader, it was the exact same story. The clarity and reliability of my optics literally dictated whether the mission was a success.

When I got back home to the Island, I looked at the civilian night vision market and couldn't believe it. It was a mess and almost designed so that the average person couldn’t afford to experience it through inflated prices, and getting advice from salespeople who've never had to truly test or rely on their gear when it’s required. It’s overwhelming, and frankly, it's unacceptable.

Night vision is a powerful tool, and access to it shouldn’t be locked behind massive agency budgets or specialized circles. The average person should be able to get his hands on this capability without the headache.

So, I built the company that fixes it.
