This website is operated by Long Island NV Supply. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Long Island NV Supply. By visiting our site and/or purchasing from us, you engage in our Service and agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”).
These Terms apply to all users including browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and contributors of content. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access the website or purchase products.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of any changes.
SECTION 1 — ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 18 years old and legally allowed to purchase the items offered. By placing an order you confirm that possession and use of the purchased product is lawful in your jurisdiction.
SECTION 2 — NATURE OF PRODUCTS SOLD
Products sold by Long Island NV Supply include precision electro-optical equipment and accessories. These products are sensitive instruments intended for lawful civilian use.
Buyer assumes all responsibility for safe handling, operation, storage, and legal compliance after purchase.
SECTION 3 — NIGHT VISION DEVICE PERFORMANCE DISCLAIMER
Night vision devices and image intensifier tubes inherently contain cosmetic and performance variances due to the manufacturing process.
Normal characteristics include but are not limited to:
• Minor spots or blemishes
• Edge distortion
• Peppering
• Halo variance
• Brightness variance
• Fixed pattern noise
• Cosmetic tube patterns
These are normal and do not constitute defects.
Specification values (including but not limited to FOM, SNR, resolution, gain, EBI, and halo) are measured estimates and may vary slightly from listed documentation. No two tubes perform identically and comparison to another unit is not grounds for return or dispute.
SECTION 4 — ACCEPTABLE USE AND DAMAGE
Improper use voids any warranty or support. This includes:
• Daylight exposure or bright light damage
• Weapon recoil damage
• Disassembly or modification
• Improper battery use
• Moisture or water intrusion
• Impact or drop damage
• User-installed parts or accessories
• Storage in improper temperature or humidity
Once delivered, the buyer assumes full responsibility for care and operation.
SECTION 5 — FINAL SALE POLICY
Due to the sensitive and high-value nature of electro-optical equipment, all night vision devices and tubes are FINAL SALE.
Returns are only accepted if the device is completely non-functional on arrival and reported within 48 hours of delivery.
Buyer’s remorse, cosmetic pattern preference, comparison to another unit, or misunderstanding of specifications does not qualify as a defect.
SECTION 6 — CHARGEBACK AND PAYMENT DISPUTES
By completing a purchase, the customer agrees to these Terms and acknowledges the documented performance characteristics of night vision technology.
Chargebacks filed for non-defective products will be formally disputed using:
• Order documentation
• Serial number records
• Specification sheets
• Terms acceptance
Fraudulent disputes may be pursued for recovery of costs and fees where permitted by law.
SECTION 7 — SHIPPING AND RISK OF LOSS
All orders are shipped with tracking and delivery confirmation.
Risk of loss transfers to the buyer upon confirmed delivery to the shipping carrier or delivery address. Customers are responsible for providing a secure delivery location.
We are not responsible for theft after delivery confirmation.
SECTION 8 — LEGAL COMPLIANCE AND EXPORT
Buyer is solely responsible for understanding and complying with all local, state, and federal laws regarding possession, resale, transport, or export of purchased equipment.
Products may be restricted in certain jurisdictions. We do not provide legal advice regarding legality of ownership.
By purchasing, the buyer affirms the product will not be exported or transferred where prohibited by law.
SECTION 9 — LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Long Island NV Supply shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including but not limited to:
• Loss of use
• Property damage
• Personal injury
• Loss of profits
• Equipment misuse
All products are sold “AS IS” except where explicitly stated otherwise.
SECTION 10 — ACCURACY OF INFORMATION
We strive to provide accurate product descriptions and specifications but do not guarantee absolute accuracy. Minor listing errors may be corrected without prior notice.
SECTION 11 — REFUSAL OF SERVICE
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including suspected fraudulent, illegal, or reselling activity.
SECTION 12 — GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed and interpreted under the laws of the United States and the State in which the business operates.
