Returns & Warranty Policy

Thank you for purchasing from Long Island NV Supply. Due to the precision and sensitive nature of electro-optical equipment, the following policy applies to all night vision devices, image intensifier tubes, and optical electronics sold.


INSPECTION PERIOD (48 HOURS)
Customers have 48 hours from confirmed delivery to inspect the device for functionality.

If the device is completely non-functional upon arrival, you must contact us within 48 hours with:
• Order number
• Photos/videos showing the issue
• Photo of serial number

Failure to report within 48 hours constitutes acceptance of the product as fully functional.


WHAT QUALIFIES AS DEFECTIVE
A unit is considered defective ONLY if:

• The device does not power on
• No image is produced
• The device shuts off immediately under normal operation

Performance characteristics do NOT qualify as defects.


NORMAL CHARACTERISTICS (NOT DEFECTS)
Night vision technology contains inherent cosmetic variances. The following are normal and not eligible for return or exchange:

• Blemishes or spots
• Edge distortion
• Peppering
• Halo size differences
• Brightness variation
• Fixed pattern noise
• Tube pattern preference
• Differences compared to other devices
• User expectation of higher clarity

Each tube is unique and cosmetic patterning is not grounds for return.


FINAL SALE ITEMS
All night vision devices, tubes, and assembled systems are FINAL SALE once functional condition is confirmed.

We do not accept returns for:
• Buyer’s remorse
• Preference of another unit
• Comparing performance to another tube
• Misunderstanding specifications
• Accidental purchase
• Intended use changing after delivery


DAMAGE AFTER DELIVERY
The following voids any warranty or support:

• Exposure to daylight or bright light sources
• Weapon recoil damage
• Water or moisture intrusion
• Dropping or impact
• Disassembly or modification
• Third-party parts installation
• Improper batteries
• Improper storage conditions

Damage occurring after delivery is the responsibility of the customer.


SHIPPING DAMAGE
If packaging arrives visibly damaged, customer must photograph package BEFORE opening and notify carrier immediately.

Failure to document shipping damage voids shipping claims.


NO PERFORMANCE GUARANTEES
Specifications such as FOM, SNR, resolution, gain, and halo are measured values and not guarantees of identical visual performance. No two night vision tubes appear the same.


CHARGEBACK POLICY
By completing a purchase, the buyer agrees to this policy.

Chargebacks for non-defective items will be disputed using:
• Terms acceptance
• Serial number documentation
• Test report records
• Delivery confirmation

Fraudulent disputes may be pursued for recovery of costs and fees where permitted by law.


LEGAL RESPONSIBILITY
Buyer is responsible for lawful ownership, use, transfer, and transport of the product after delivery.

We do not provide legal advice regarding local or state restrictions.
